After spending hours on the phone between pathetic excuses for heating and air contractors, and our home repair warranty company, to try to resolve issues with our central heat/air unit, I finally gave up on the idea of trying to get either to actually be helpful in getting said problems resolved. And after searching the web for a reputable company in which to invest trust to bring resolution, I came across Ethridge Heating and Air, and noticed that they had quite a few favorable reviews about their company and service. So, despite having to leave the warranty co. out of the picture, I gave Ethridge a chance, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. From initial contact with them, to interacting with the technician (Michael Painter – you rock), I was shown nothing short of complete professionalism and eagerness to have my business, repeat business and my air/heating problems completely addressed. The technician – Mike – came in, kept me completely in the loop regarding every small and large thing he found (of his own accord), his thoughts/advice on next steps w/out trying to sell me anything, and a running estimate of what my final costs would be based on his suggestions/expert opinion. At no point during his work was I not completely knowledgeable concerning the process necessary to get our air/heating unit operational once more. And once given the green flag to proceed with repairs, Mike was quick, thorough, committed (working in the middle of a slight rainstorm) and completely transparent from start to finish. Absolutely awesome. I truly can’t say enough about just how phenomenal doing business with this company is.
And, to avoid any confusion concerning this review and my thoughts about Ethridge, yes, this is a real review by a real homeowner really fed up with dealing with companies/people that couldn’t give a crap about actually providing quality service to its customers. And it was an extreme pleasure having had the opportunity to work with Ethridge and know that there are actual companies out there that DO care. I’m not affiliated in any way with the company (pointed out to again assure readers that my review is legitimate), but I can say with tremendous certainty that I will be in the future with regards to selecting a heating & air company in which I have the utmost confidence to do a job and to do it incredibly well.
If you’re having problems with your air/heating unit, please save yourself a lot of time, trouble, expense, and headache, and just go with a service provider that is committed to doing the job right and as thoroughly as possible the first time. That provider is Ethridge, and you will not regret the decision.
